Our QHSE Policies outline the principles, systems, and responsibilities that guide how we deliver compliant, sustainable, and safe engineering outcomes. Through continual improvement, proactive risk management, and adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, we aim to protect people, property, and the environment while ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality services to our clients. 

Quality Policy

At MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD we take pride in undertaking high quality remedial engineering to the most exacting standards. With our highly experienced team, we have full control over the entire remediation process and always deliver to the highest industry standards. Our commitment to quality is to:

  • Understand both current and future customer needs, meeting their requirements and exceeding their expectations.
  • Meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Use a process approach to achieve a more efficient, effective outcome.
  • Strive to achieve continual improvement across all aspects of our Management System.
  • Make decisions relating to our Management System following an analysis of relevant data from measurement and monitoring of our processes and information.
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationships with our external providers to enhance the ability for all to create value.
  • Undertake risk management processes in all areas that may impact our customer’s expectations, or our products and services.

Resources of all types commensurate with the company’s emphasis towards quality will be made available to create and maintain a working environment in which people are fully involved in achieving our objectives and targets.

Where MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD does not have the necessary in-house knowledge or expertise to enable it to meet its quality objectives, MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD will ensure that advice and guidance are obtained from competent professionals.

Senior Managers and Supervisors will be responsible for the implementation of all matters of quality with the employees under their control.

All employees will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to embrace high quality work practices and a safe working environment. 

Education/training of all employees on quality of product and process is a natural course of employment and all employees will be encouraged to embrace this concept.

This policy is but an outline of the commitment which this company places on quality within the workplace, but this commitment from all concerned is necessary for high quality to be achieved and maintained.

Occupational Health & Safety Policy

MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD recognises and is committed to its responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of its employees.  To achieve this commitment MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD will develop and implement a formal safety system to ensure that as far as practicable:

  • It complies with all relevant occupational health and safety legislation.
  • It complies with ISO45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management system.
  • A safe and healthy work environment is provided for employees, subcontractors and visitors through the elimination of hazards.
  • There is regular consultation with employees to ensure that the policy operates effectively.
  • Appropriate actions are taken to review and improve occupational health and safety performance.

Resources commensurate with the company’s emphasis towards occupational health and safety will be made available to provide and maintain for the physical and psychological well being of employees.  Where MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD does not have the necessary in-house knowledge or expertise to enable it to meet its occupational health and safety objectives, MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD will ensure that advice and guidance are obtained from competent occupational health and safety professionals.

All employees will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to embrace the concept of safe work practices and a safe working environment.  Employees will be required to work in a healthy and safe manner whilst discouraging others from working in an unsafe manner.

Education/training of all employees on health and safety is considered to be a natural course of employment and all employees will be encouraged to embrace this concept.

This policy is compliant to the ISO45001:2018 standard and is merely an outline of the commitment which this company places on occupational health and safety within the workplace, but this commitment from all concerned is necessary if the health and safety of all is to be achieved and maintained.

Environmental Policy

MJ ENGINEERING PROJECTS PTY LTD are dedicated to promoting and encouraging a sustainable environment throughout our business activities, within our supply chains, or through any other business relationship. We ensure that our supplies and services are in ways that prevent pollution into the environment, while also being legally compliant.

As we are committed to our environmental performance, it is important that all our employees, contractors and suppliers are aware of their environmental responsibilities, environmental impacts associated with their activities, products and services.

The main objectives sought by our company through our environmental and sustainability program include:

  • Eliminating environmental notices issued on our projects through implementing training to workers during inductions, toolbox talks and Operating Procedures
  • Providing timely and appropriate response and corrective action to complaints.
  • Minimising impacts on the environment, by managing dust, water, waste, and hazardous chemicals, and preventing contamination from works.
  • Support relevant industry specific environmental and sustainability initiatives.
  • Continually improve and refine our processes with the intention of reducing our environmental impact.
  • Comply with the requirements of ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
